Mushroom Pepper Fry



Ingredients:
Button Mushrooms - 1 cup , slice them or cut them into 1/2 inch pieces.
Big Onion  - 1 slice thinly
Green chillies -2 slit lengthwise
Ginger garlic paste - 1 heaped teaspoon
pepper powder - 1 tea spoon
curry leaves - 2 sprigs
salt - to taste

Preparation:

  • Heat a skillet and add oil.
  • Once oil is heated, add onions and little salt and stir it till it becomes transparent.
  • Add green chillies and ginger garlic paste and stir it well.
  • Add pepper powder and curry leaves.
  • Add the mushrooms and the remaining salt.
  • Do not add any water.Stir it once in a while.Let the mushrooms cook and the water from it evaporate.Keep on stirring and mixing it once a while.
  • The mushrooms will shrink in size and get roasted well.
  • Once the mushrooms are roasted well, put off the flame and transfer it to the serving bowl.
